KEVIN SOMMER – Bassklarinette
\n<\/strong>*1991 Aarau, wohnt und wirkt ebenda.
\nGeh\u00f6rt zu einer jungen Generation von Musikern, die die Bassklarinette als Hauptinstrument im Grenzbereich zwischen Jazz, freier Improvisation und Zeitgen\u00f6ssischer Musik spielen. Er studierte an den Musikhochschulen Lausanne und Bern Improvisation und Musikp\u00e4dagogik und ist als freischaffender Klarinettist und Klarinettenlehrer t\u00e4tig. Sein K\u00fcnstlerischer Fokus liegt auf der Ausweitung der klanglichen und musikalischen M\u00f6glichkeiten seines Instrumentes.\u00a0Er ist Teil mehrerer Formationen wie Sommerwolf, Leib, sowie Mirandas Orbit und spielte u.a. an der Jazzwerkstatt Bern, Zoom In Festival Bern, Jazzclub Moods Z\u00fcrich, Chorus Lausanne. Tourneen und Konzerte in CH, D, AT, FR.<\/p>\n

Luis Sanz is a multidisciplinary artist who explores synthetic sounds, computer graphics and physical audiovisual experiences. As an artist, Sanz creates installations focused on the relationships between bodies and spaces, generating acoustic-imaginary dimensions that combine video, sound, field recordings and hybrid characters. As a musician, Sanz is active in the international experimental music scene as soloist and with Noijzu, an electro-acoustic noise duo with whom he has performed throughout Asia and Europe.<\/p>\n

His work has been presented at international festivals, including Live Cinema Festival Rome, IT; Borderline Dolno\u015bl\u0105skie, PL; Volumens Valencia, ES; Fantoche Baden, CH; Buh Records Festival, Lima, PE; Berlin Atonal, DE; CTM Berlin, DE; Node Lausanne, CH; International Film Festival Rotterdam, NL; Generate! T\u00fcbingen, DE; Taktung Z\u00fcrich, CH; Kasseler Dokumentarfilm und Videofest, DE; Circles of Light International Festival Moscow, RU; Ludicious Game Festival Z\u00fcrich, CH; Mapping Festival Geneva, CH; Mira Barcelona, ES and Centras Kaunas, LT.<\/p>\n

Luis Sanz holds a Masters Degree in Contemporary Arts Practice (Bern University of the Arts).<\/p>\n
